Xiaomi, a successful player in the smartphone market, is counting down to the release of its POCO X7 series, which has been in development for some time. While there haven’t been many reports on the models until now, this is starting to change. Recent developments reveal that the POCO X7 Pro model has reached a significant milestone on its global path.
POCO X7 Pro Appears in FCC Database
The POCO X7 Pro has been spotted in the FCC database with the model number 2412DPC0AG. The listing confirms that the device will be available in two variants: 8 GB/256 GB and 12 GB/512 GB. It will also feature connectivity options like GSM/WCDMA/LTE/5G NR, Wi-Fi 6, GNSS, and NFC.
According to previous reports, the phone will be equipped with a 5,830 mAh battery capable of 90W fast charging. It will come out of the box with Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0. The device is expected to feature a 108 MP primary camera and a 32 MP selfie camera, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset. Additionally, it is said to have a 6.8-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 360 Hz touch sampling rate, protected by Gorilla Glass.
While it’s not confirmed yet, there’s speculation that the POCO X7 Pro might be a rebranded version of the soon-to-be-launched Redmi Turbo 4. If the rumors prove true, both models will have the same technical specifications despite different names and designs. Finally, the official announcement is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2025.
